Our client is a premium supplier to the UK’s fine dining, pastry, and hospitality sectors. They are now seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover the Midlands and North region.

Ways of working:

Home-based contract with regular travel to customers across the Midlands/North and occasional visits to head office in Slough.

The job…..

As Area Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth in a defined geographical area. You’ll manage a mix of existing high-value clients and actively seek new business, creating a strategic journey plan to meet ambitious growth targets.

You’ll work closely with National Account Managers and the internal sales team to identify opportunities, secure listings, and support marketing initiatives. The role requires on-the-spot sales, regular customer appointments, attendance at internal meetings and foodservice exhibitions, and timely reporting of forecasts, expenses, and sales activity.

They pride themselves on exceptional quality, strong customer relationships, and deep knowledge of the industry, with a portfolio that caters to some of the most prestigious names in foodservice.

• Previous field sales experience within the foodservice industry.
• Strong knowledge of professional catering - experience in the pastry or chocolate industry would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills.
• Commercially aware with a proven ability to identify and convert opportunities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP familiarity is a plus.
• Full UK driving licence.
