The role of the Area Sales Manager Generator Hire will involve:
Field sales role selling generator hire
Selling into main contractors, electrical contractors and specialist event and film companies
Sales target between £1m-£2m
Majority of the time on the road in front of customers
Tropical customers include hospitals, factories, distributors (where power back-up is essential)
Selling the hire of large generators
Leveraging your own network of contacts within the power industry
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Generator Hire with:
3 years+ field sales experience
Must come from and have a network of contacts within the generator power industry
Generator hire experience/ working for a competitor
Strong negotiating skills
Competitive nature
Experience of managing a multi-site organisation
Understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
