This is a perfect role if you want genuine uncapped earning potential. We are looking for a driven and independent Area Sales Manager to oversee Scotland and Northern Ireland. We hire, sell, and maintain specialist plant equipment across various industrial markets.

BASIC SALARY: GBP 45,000 (DOE)

LOCATION: Home-based, covering Scotland and Ireland. Ideally, you will reside near Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Dundee, with options including Perth, Dunfermline, Kirkaldy, Stirling, Broxburn, Livingston, Bathgate, Whitburn, Linlithgow, Falkirk, Cumbernauld, or nearby areas.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Territory Sales Manager / Plant Equipment Sales

As our Area Sales Manager, you will be self-sufficient and motivated by earning. Working remotely and covering Scotland and Ireland, you'll leverage your experience in contract hire sales or high-value capital equipment sales to grow your region. Initially focused on new business, you'll also manage an active territory with existing clients.

This is a solution-based sales role, so you must demonstrate your ability to convert leads into high-value sales and develop existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.

Your daily activities will include:

• Meeting 2-3 clients per day
• Conducting site surveys for accurate quotations
• Advising clients on suitable solutions
• Following up on quotes and closing sales

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Proven success in contract hire and/or sales of plant, machinery, or high-value technical solutions. Experience selling to industries such as mining, quarrying, cement, steel, power generation, building materials, recycling, or related sectors is advantageous. You should be self-motivated, with excellent planning skills and a track record of building long-term relationships.
