About the Opportunity
I’m working with a leading UK distributor within the electrical products industry who are looking to appoint an experienced Area Sales Manager for the South West region.
This is a field-based role, spending most of your week out with customers and prospects, supported by an excellent internal sales and management team. If you’re driven, target-focused, and thrive on building strong customer relationships, this could be the ideal next step in your sales career.
The Role
As Area Sales Manager, you’ll take ownership of your region — maintaining existing relationships while driving new business opportunities across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities:

Promote and sell a wide range of electrical and industrial products to M&E contractors, OEMs, and distributors.

Manage and grow an existing customer base while developing new accounts.

Represent the business at trade shows and industry events.

Work collaboratively with internal sales and management teams to ensure excellent customer service.

Plan and manage your time effectively to maximise sales opportunities within your territory.
