Job Title: Sales Executive - Homebased / Field Sales
Location: Southampton
Salary: Up to £37,500 + attractive bonuses, company car & home-based contract
Medina is a regional food wholesaler based on the Isle of Wight. We are part of Sysco, the world's largest foodservice provider with over 65,000 colleagues globally. Medina has a family feel with a close-knit team, supplying local pub and restaurant customers as well as delivering directly to caterers.
We have ambitious growth plans and are looking for a Sales Executive responsible for winning and maximising independent foodservice business in your area. Key Responsibilities:
- Gain, grow, and retain customers, delivering profitable volume growth against targets.
- Research target audiences and opportunities within your territory.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through face-to-face meetings and understanding customer needs.
- Onboard new customers effectively and maintain relationships with existing accounts.
- Partner with customers to understand their growth plans, add value, and offer practical solutions and products.
- Monitor competitor activity and proposals to ensure your customers receive the best local solutions.
Candidate Profile:
We seek someone capable of winning new business and maximising sales with existing customers. Ideally, you are commercially astute, proficient in Excel, and skilled in building relationships. A desire for sales is essential. Food industry experience is a plus but not required.
