Assistant Sales Office Manager

Michelmersh are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Assistant Sales Office Manager.
*Key Duties and Responsibilities:*
· Support the Sales Office Manager in overseeing daily operations of the sales office
· Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of orders
· Manage customer inquiries, quotations, and order processing with accuracy and efficiency
· Maintain and update sales records, customer databases, and inventory systems
· Assist in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics
· Liaise with clients to build strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
· Monitor market trends and competitor activity to support strategic planning
· Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards
· Provide training and support to junior sales staff and administrative personnel
· Handle escalated customer issues and resolve them promptly
*Key Experience and Qualifications:*
· Experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably within a sales coordinating environment
· Experience with and strong working knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM systems
· Experience with ERP systems
· Strong understanding of sales processes and customer service principles
· Experience in handling customer escalations and resolving operational issues efficiently
· Familiarity with inventory control, order processing, and dispatch coordination
· Understanding of sales performance metrics and ability to generate and interpret sales reports
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
