Business Development Manager – Acquisition Sales

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and close new customer opportunities across direct and indirect sales channels
• Drive net new business acquisition – new logos and new channel partners
• Report directly to the Sales Director, providing updates on pipeline, KPIs, and progress
• Develop and execute targeted go-to-market strategies for new customer segments
• Collaborate with internal teams including pre-sales, marketing, and delivery to ensure a cohesive approach to client acquisition
• Lead customer engagement through the full sales lifecycle – from prospecting to negotiation and contract closure
• Build relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target accounts
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor positioning, and market dynamics
• Provide strategic input into service offerings based on market intelligence and customer feedback

Qualifications

• Proven track record in new business development or acquisition sales, ideally in IT services or technology solutions
• Experience selling across both direct and indirect sales channels
• Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
• Demonstrated success in building relationships and closing complex deals
• Commercial acumen and a results-driven mindset
• Ability to navigate and collaborate within a matrixed environment
• Degree in business, technology, or a related field preferred
