Commodity Trading Software Sales Manager - £70-110k Basic + 100% OTE

This role is a new‑business sales hunter focused on selling a leading CTRM SaaS solution to commodity trading businesses in Europe. The position is hybrid, requiring regular attendance in the Central London office and supporting marketing, product positioning and development. The client is a 9‑year‑old company with 35 employees that has sold over £1 million in new business last year without a dedicated sales manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive new business sales of the company's CTRM solution to commodity trading clients across Europe (UK, France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, etc.).
  • Conduct prospecting, solution selling and close deals through a hands‑on hunter approach.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product and engineering teams to support positioning, messaging and product development.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline and meet quarterly sales targets.
  • Support remote or bi‑weekly London visits for exceptional candidates.

Qualifications and skills

  • Proven track record in enterprise commodity trading software sales – 100 % essential – ideally in metals or agricultural/soft commodities.
  • Recent strong track record in new business sales and a hunter mindset.
  • English fluency essential; fluency in French, German or Spanish beneficial.
  • UK or Irish passport (or UK visa allowing work in the UK) required. Remote European candidates need a European passport or visa for that country.
  • No visa sponsorship offered.

Compensation

Base pay range £70‑110k plus 100 % OTE.
