Stannah have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Sales Advisor to join the Sales Department, based in Andover

This job will involve supporting potential customers through a detailed and often emotional buying journey, helping them make informed decisions about stairlifts and homelifts. You'll build strong relationships via phone and email, offer compassionate and tailored advice, and ultimately secure the sale in a way that feels personal and high quality.

As the Customer Sales Advisor, you will work Monday to Friday 8am 8pm, with weekend hours from 9am 5pm on a rota basis. This job is a permanent position with a starting salary of £24,500 per annum, plus performance-related pay, company bonus and benefits. After initial in-office training, you’ll enjoy a blend of home and office working.

To be successful as the Customer Sales Advisor, it is essential that you have:

  • Confident written and verbal communication skills with a friendly, positive tone.

  • An empathetic, caring approach to helping others.

  • A willingness to learn and pick up new technical product knowledge.

  • Experience working to targets in any setting work, studies or even in team sports/social situations.

  • Experience in sales, customer service or handling sensitive conversations would be desirable.

Customer Sales Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with customers via phone and email following a home visit by a Sales Consultant.

  • Provide clear, helpful, and compassionate guidance to help customers make informed purchase decisions.

  • Record detailed notes and updates on each customer using the CRM system.

  • Liaise with consultants to understand customer needs and follow up effectively.

  • Work to sales targets by maximising conversion while delivering a high-quality customer experience.

Customer Sales Advisor Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • A people-first, solution-focused approach to customer service.

  • Motivation to work to sales targets while upholding the brand’s compassionate values.

  • Team spirit and a willingness to learn about technical products.
