Telent Technology Services Limited is a leading technology company specializing in the design, build, operation, and maintenance of the UK's critical digital infrastructure, drawing on decades of experience in mission-critical communications and technology.

As the Business Development Manager  6 Highways, you will report to the Business Development Director, Highways and be responsible for achieving new orders to meet targets within Telent's Highways business. Your focus will be on business development and opportunity qualification activities to support growth through contract renewals and new customer acquisition. You will lead virtual teams to achieve strategic objectives, own an account plan, and contribute to the Highways business strategy by identifying markets, target contracts, and customers to provide value-added, differentiated solutions for profitable growth.

The role involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to secure new multi-million-pound contracts from new customers and maintain relationships with existing clients.

You will be responsible for:

The role requires demonstrable experience and a proven track record in managing key customer relationships in the Highways sector, achieving sales targets, and supporting sales and business development strategies.

Through delivering high levels of customer service and securing profitable new business, you will help strengthen Telent's position in the UK Highways Sector.
