Hours: Full-Time
Working Pattern: Hybrid, involving at least two days per week at one of our office sites
Job Summary:
Merchant Services offers a wide range of payment solutions to merchants of all sizes, from micro to enterprise. We are investing heavily in this area, reflecting its strategic importance.
We are seeking a Director of Client Implementation, reporting to the Head of Sales Engineering, to lead our client implementation team.
The team supports our largest clients by providing pre-sale and post-sale technical support, ensuring smooth onboarding and implementation of our payment solutions.
The successful candidate will be passionate about problem-solving, proactive, and adept at managing complex client onboarding processes, building strong relationships with clients, third-party gateways, and internal teams including Sales, Product, IT, and Compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Launching Merchants: Ensure rapid deployment of solutions that meet merchant needs, acting as a technical expert for strategic projects.
- Develop Implementation Strategy: Analyze market landscape and design strategies to maximize impact.
- Process Optimization: Improve and streamline processes within the team.
- Blocker Removal & Enablement: Identify and eliminate obstacles to improve performance.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with sales leaders and other departments to support growth initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experience leading an implementation team with proven leadership skills.
- Strong background in payments, especially gateway or merchant acquiring.
- Experience in creating and managing performance dashboards.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders including VIP clients.
- Understanding of sales and marketing pipelines.
- Results-driven, motivated, and able to work under pressure.
- Critical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills.
