Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Management: Manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies to grow partnerships with UK fitness operators.
  • Public Speaking: Represent the business confidently on panels, webinars, and seminars.
  • Event Participation: Lead events to support lead generation and increase brand awareness.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver tailored pitches to senior decision-makers at target operators.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with EGYM Technology colleagues to create joint deals that integrate the EGYM Wellpass marketplace with connected fitness equipment solutions.
  • Negotiation: Handle objections and lead negotiations with operators.
  • Process Optimisation: Provide insights and feedback to optimise and improve the sales process.
  • CRM Proficiency: Use Salesforce and other tools effectively and advocate best practices as the business scales.

Qualifications

  • Location: Based in or around London with excellent knowledge of the London corporate landscape.
  • Networking: World‑class networker capable of structuring win‑win deals and negotiating terms confidently.
  • Public Speaking: Comfortable representing the company at trade events and acting as a lead voice in the sector.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Handle objections confidently, achieve positive outcomes, and demonstrate strong closing skills to secure new business.
  • Analytical Thinking: Logical and sharp mind, capable of managing multiple commercial factors impacting a deal.
  • Resilience: Highly resilient and able to deliver results consistently.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experienced with sales tools like Salesforce (or similar).
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the UK health and fitness industry and strong contacts, though this is not a prerequisite.

First 6‑Month Training Goals

  • Sales Process & CRM: Master the sales process and methodologies used, becoming a confident Salesforce user.
  • Territory Planning: Build a detailed and approved territory plan for the region.
  • Events: Complete two outbound lead generation sales events in the region.
  • Sales Meetings: Conduct around five new client meetings per week to actively build and grow the pipeline.
  • Close Sales: Consistently win enough deals to achieve on‑target earnings.

  • Compensation: Earn an OTE between £120,000 and £140,000 p.a., with 70 % base salary and 30 % variable component.
