Responsible for the consignments to our export customers (all brands), producing quotes, processing orders and preparing the appropriate export documentation for various modes of transport including road, air and sea freight. Daily Responsibilities: Update and amend product prices, new items and changes to existing contracts in our SAP software.
Requesting and recording freight costs, booking freight
consignments and raising Dangerous Goods notes where necessary.
Processing orders and arranging freight travel on an adhoc basis.
Liaising with internal departments to confirm products are scheduled in accordance to customer requirements, timeframes, quantity needed.
Working with suppliers and customers to support order schedules in a timely manner and to meet expected deadlines.
Raise Customer relation queries or issues effectively to reach timely resolutions.
Printing relevant documentation required for export orders, including order acknowledgements, invoices, packing lists, cargo shipping instructions and dispatch advice.
Sending order and booking information to suppliers and customers.
Arrangement of inspection of goods upon arrival to UK
Reviewing/recording certificates of origin and ensuring carrier documents and instructions relating to consignments are correct on arrival and departure.
Review and documentation of Export movement certificates (EUR1s)
Reviewing and checking waybills for containers are correct.
Ensuring all paperwork and documentation is received correctly from the Dispatch Team
Confirm Purchase Order on payment system (Proactis)
Communicate any issues to customer/supplier
Investigating/Sign off queries on payment system timely and effectively.
Provide information/paperwork to the Technical team as and when required.
Produce and issue Final Invoice/Waybill/Packing Declaration/Cert of Origin/Eur1 Pack to non EU Customers. What you will need:
Experience within a sales support role, with knowledge of export processing.
Excellent attention to detail in order to complete export paperwork and documentation, dangerous goods notes for EU and non EU destinations.
To maintain good relations with the export distributors and licensees by telephone and email.
Significant experience/qualification with the sea/air export procedures and documentation.
Experience of working in an environment which conforms to management standards, such as ISO9001.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal in order to organize and negotiate cost affective transportation for shipment of products and book transport.
An understanding of dangerous goods requirements and processes.
