About the Role

We’re looking for aField Sales Managerto lead sales efforts in the West Midlands, driving revenue growth and improving profitability for our Walsall depotand surrounding locations.

This is a key role where you’ll be the face of SLD Pumps & Power to both new and existing customers—building lasting relationships, delivering tailored solutions, and helping us grow.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Building strong, value-driven relationships with existing clients
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Collaborating with depot teams and internal service centres
  • Continuously developing knowledge of our products and applications
  • Using our CRM and sales systems to stay ahead of customer needs
  • Ensuring profitability on all orders through smart commercial management
  • Promoting the SLD Pumps & Power brand and related services across the region
  • Reporting on activity, sales progress, and customer engagement
  • Supporting timely payment collection for services rendered

    • What We’re Looking For

  • Previous proven business development experience.
  • Experience in Plant hire or Construction would be beneficial.
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Customer-focused with a results-driven mindset
