VANRATH are delighted to be partnering up again with a Major FMCG Distribution Service with the Recruitment of a Drinks Sales Specialist to join a growing and dynamic team based in Belfast. This company places massive value on staff development and progression. This is a Permanent (Monday - Friday) position - This is a Field Based Sales position - With 3 days on the Road work, and 2 days working from home. Salary £28,000 + 10% Bonus + Company Car (Fuel Costs paid for) + Phone & Laptop & Clear Progression Opportunities & 5* Training And Development - Really exciting position with tonnes of growth potential. Responsibilities: To achieve and surpass customer sales & profit budgets and maximise return on investment of the range of Soft Drink brands to a portfolio of Out of Home Wholesale & Retail Accounts in line with Sales, Shopper & Brand objectives. Sales Focused Position Manage customer portfolio with existing and new business to meet sales, shopper and brand objectives within the agreed parameters. To execute national plans at local level ensuring distribution & activation is in line with brand objectives & any additional support is within TGM targets. To develop collaborative customer partnerships that encapsulate the key points contained within the customer's summary of needs. Translate Sales & Brand objectives into relevant customer business plans/ranging/activation and in line with their business cycles To work closely with Brand and NPD teams to ensure they are totally aware of key customer plofs & menu cycles. Work closely with commercial planning and the activation team to ensure all activation, distribution drives & terms are in line with company & brand expectations, and managed through the use of CBP systems, spend & TGM budgets. Ensure additional forecasted volume & spend is fed back into CBP. Provide information required for all internal and external requirements (Line mgr., Board, Commercial, Sales Operations, Finance, Brand & Shopper teams, within specified deadlines. Use insight to maximize distribution, availability and visibility of brands in account portfolio by setting specific targets /gap analysis, business plans and by identifying & matching customer needs to our brands key features. Always ensure that all new and existing listings are managed based on the brand & channel objectives and NPD processes. Ensure all competitor activity is fed back into the business as part of building a wider understanding of the channel & our key competitors. To be in total control of all elements of financial management including limiting Debtors days in line with customer terms and resolving all credit queries and outstanding invoices within 35 days in all accounts in portfolio Criteria: Experience in similar role Clear Sales experience Listening & Questioning Persuasiveness Planning & Organising Judgement Adaptability Full Driving License For more information on this role, please reach out to Jack Groves @ VANRATH for a confidential chat.
