General Sales Manager
Location: LiverpoolWorking Hours: 5-day working weekSalary: £50,000 – £80,000 OTE + excellent benefitsOur client, a successful and expanding family-owned dealer group, is seeking an experienced General Sales Manager to lead their sales operations at their newly developed Liverpool site. With two established brands already in place and another launching in the coming months, this is a fantastic opportunity for a proven leader to shape and grow the business at an exciting time of expansion.
You will oversee a sales team of five executives, manage contract valeters, and work closely with the Aftersales Manager to deliver outstanding performance across both new and used vehicle sales.

Key Responsibilities of the GSM:
Lead, coach, and manage a team of sales executivesDrive performance to meet and exceed sales and profit targetsOversee used car appraisals, part-exchange, and stock controlEnsure customer satisfaction and maintain long-term client relationshipsAnalyse sales trends, conversion rates, and team performanceOversee accurate use of CRM and sales management systemsWork with marketing to support campaigns and promotionsEnsure full compliance with FCA regulations, GDPR, and company standardsRecruit, onboard, and train sales staff to build a high-performing teamCollaborate with aftersales and other departments to deliver a seamless customer journeyWhat We’re Looking For:
