We’re looking for a financially motivated and commercially-minded Delegate Sales Executive who wants to use their skills to positively impact critical industries and communities. This role is suitable for recent graduates or candidates starting their sales careers.
This full-time, hybrid position is based in Canary Wharf, London.
About the Role
As a Delegate Sales Executive at Reuters Events, you will:
- Reach out to potential delegates through calls, emails, and social media to inform them about upcoming events.
- Use a consultative sales approach to understand the needs of potential delegates and match these with our events.
- Follow KPI standards to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Join a motivated sales team and learn the business from the ground up.
- Sell delegate places and tickets across our global events portfolio.
- Build relationships with leads across various industries and earn commissions per sale.
- Qualify and nurture sales leads using excellent customer service skills.
- Close individual and group delegate registrations for conferences worldwide.
- Work comfortably towards targets and communicate with decision makers.
- Receive training on sales techniques.
- Potentially advance into business development or conference production roles.
About You
