OverviewJoin to apply for the Gunroom Sales Executive role at James Purdey & Sons - Richemont Group. We are seeking a passionate and driven Gunroom Sales Executive to join Purdey. In this role, you will be responsible for maximising sales revenue for guns, rifles, and all Purdey products within the boutique, whilst providing outstanding customer service and representing the Purdey brand with pride.ResponsibilitiesGrow sales by attracting new clients and developing the existing customer base.Promote sales of new and second-hand guns and rifles.Provide advice to customers on the repair, maintenance and storage of their guns.Promote and sell cartridges, ammunition and gun-related shooting clothing and accessories.Act as an ambassador for Purdey at private and public events.Assist in the co-ordination of in-store promotional events.Maintain strict security on all gun displays, storage and transfer of firearms and ammunition whilst complying with the Company and UK firearms legislation.Present the “face of Purdey” in a consistent manner and deliver the “Purdey Experience” to clients.Ensure clients receive the highest level of service to maintain the Company’s reputation as a leading gun maker.Experience and SuccessProven aptitude for gun sales and a passion for driving revenue growth.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to initiate contact and build rapport.Confident, articulate, and detail oriented.Diplomatic, courteous, and possess a "can-do" attitude.Self-motivated, discreet, confidential, and trustworthy.Collaborative and willing to contribute as a team player with a warm, friendly, and engaging personality.Exceptional customer service, presentation, and communication skills.Commercially focused with an understanding of financial figures and budgeting.Experience with sporting guns and rifles and a genuine interest in country pursuits.What makes our group different?We value freedom, collegiality, loyalty, and solidarity.We foster empathy, curiosity, courage, humility, and integrity.We care for the world we live in.Your Journey With UsWe aim to provide a valuable recruitment process, allowing you to gain exposure to key decision makers and influencing individuals:Initial screening call with Richemont Talent TeamInterview with the Hiring ManagerInterview with HR DirectorSeniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionSales, Business Development, and AdministrativeIndustriesRetail Luxury Goods and Jewelry
