Role – Business Development/Sales Manager Business Development Manager Job Title: Business Development- Sales Manager Location: London JOB PURPOSE: Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in the success of Business and will take a lead on generate new sales leads for the business process, building and sustaining new relationships with industry organisations, develop and manage a pipeline of companies and encourage them on the journey towards forecast sales revenue, and progress tasks and processes to develop and implement awareness, engagement and growth opportunities. In addition to salary there is an additional bonus element based on performance against targets. Generate quality leads and cold call qualified prospective customers by strategic prospecting Meet with partners/customers/clients face to face or over the phone Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them. Keep company intelligence up to date via a CRM system and use this to inform prioritisation of prospects and manage ongoing contact and relationships with companies Input into and help deliver targets for participation and income for registered signatories, corporate support. Work with and support the Assessor community to build relationships with new and existing participants and share company intelligence Alongside the leadership team, research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets Preparing and sharing data to inform decision-making. Development and management of overall approach and management of intelligence from the pipeline Developing and presenting webinars and other sales, promotional and relationship-building activities Contributing to the development of marketing materials both digital and presentation. Liaise with other teams as across the business and sister company Considerate Constructors Scheme.
A working knowledge of sales models (formal or innate) SPIN/ FAB ~ Relationship building and maintenance skills ~ Thorough knowledge of IT systems and software including CRM systems and Microsoft Office ~ Commercial awareness to comment and navigate strategy decision making ~ Partnership building and ongoing stakeholder relationship management ~Ability to devise and implement structure with pipeline management and CRM systems
Degree in Business Development/ Management /Sales [or equivalent experience] PowerPoint or other presentation software.
