We?re on the hunt for a visionary Head of Sales to lead our Meetings & Events (M&E) sales function and drive revenue growth across one of the UK?s most iconic estates. This is your chance to shape the future of our M&E business, inspire a talented team, and deliver extraordinary results.
As Head of Sales, you?ll be the driving force behind our commercial success in Meetings & Events. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you?ll lead a team of 3 Business Development Managers and 4 Sales Executives, crafting and executing a bold sales strategy that puts Goodwood at the forefront of the industry.
Key responsibilities
Revenue Leadership : Own and evolve the sales strategy to maximise revenue across all M&E channels.
Business Development : Hunt down new opportunities with corporate clients, sponsors, and high-value accounts
Creative Selling : Build bespoke, innovative propositions that make Goodwood irresistible.
Stakeholder Engagement : Forge powerful relationships with internal teams and external partners.
Market Intelligence : Stay ahead of trends, competitors, and customer needs.
Performance & Reporting : Drive KPIs and report pipeline progress directly to the Commercial Director.
Team Empowerment : Lead, coach, and energise your team to achieve greatness.
What you?ll bring
Proven success in M&E sales or business development - ideally in sport, hospitality, events, or entertainment.
A track record of smashing revenue targets and closing high-value deals.
Strategic thinking with a flair for crafting compelling sales narratives.
