We're on the lookout for a Head of Field Sales to lead, shape, and deliver our field sales strategy, playing a critical role in accelerating our growth, expanding our market reach, and strengthening relationships with motor dealers across the UK.
This is a senior role with real impact. You’ll work directly with our CEO and alongside other senior leaders, taking ownership of field sales performance, business development, key account management, and team leadership. Strategy & Planning
- Shape and deliver our field sales strategy aligned to business goals
- Identify and develop new opportunities, markets and partnerships
Sales & Business Development
- Lead, coach and grow our field sales team
- Set and monitor performance targets, driving revenue growth
- Build strong pipelines, win new dealer business, and expand key accounts
Client Relationship Management
- Nurture long-term partnerships with clients and stakeholders
- Oversee onboarding and integration of new clients
- Represent Marsh at industry events, conferences, and forums
Commercial Insight & Brand Building
- Use market data and insight to spot trends and opportunities
- Collaborate with marketing to drive campaigns and boost brand visibility
Financial Oversight
- Work closely with our Finance Director on sales forecasting and budgets
- Propose pricing, commission structures and growth plans
Team Leadership
- Recruit and inspire a credible field sales team
- Conduct performance reviews and develop talent across the function
- Lead by example in collaboration, motivation, and professionalism
Risk & Compliance
- Ensure sales practices meet all regulatory and legal requirements
- Maintain compliance training and contribute to a risk-aware culture
Reporting & Insight
- Provide insightful monthly updates to the CEO and senior team
- Share performance metrics, future plans and commercial commentary
- Proven experience in field sales leadership, ideally within motor finance
- Strong understanding of the motor dealership landscape and financial services sector
- A strategic thinker who’s hands-on, proactive and performance-driven
- Excellent communicator and skilled negotiator
- Commercially sharp with experience managing budgets and targets
- A confident leader who can inspire and grow high-performing teams
- Able to travel regularly for client meetings and industry events
