We have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Sales Executive based in Northampton to join one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Summary of the Internal Sales Executive Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Location: Northampton Type of Contract: permanent Hours: 37.5 hour working week Responsibilities of the Internal Sales Executive * Proactively engage with both new and existing customers by phone, building relationships and following up on quotations within agreed timescales. * Keep customers informed on the progress of repairs and ensure all communications are accurately logged in the CRM system. * Prepare and process quotations for repairs and sales enquiries, ensuring company procedures are followed. * Assist with customer account checks, including liaising with the Finance team on credit approvals when required. * Provide day-to-day support to the Sales Account Managers, helping to drive customer satisfaction and business growth. * Follow up on marketing campaigns and customer communications by phone and email. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the CRM system, ensuring all interactions are recorded. * Support commercial events such as trade shows and exhibitions when required. * Collaborate closely with colleagues across Sales, Management, and other internal departments to deliver a seamless service to customers. Requirements for a successful Internal Sales Executive * Previous internal sales experience is essential, ideally in an industrial, technical, or B2B environment. * Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships. * Commercially minded with strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Organised, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. * Resilient under pressure with a proactive, customer-focused approach. * Strong IT skills with proficiency in Word and Excel. * A positive, service-oriented attitude with a sense of responsibility and commitment to delivering results.
