We are seeking a proactive and technically minded

Technical Internal Sales Executive

to join our dynamic sales administration team. In this role, you will manage and develop a portfolio of accounts, supporting the retention and growth of key product ranges while ensuring exceptional customer service. Acting as the link between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, youll provide both commercial and technical support from enquiry through to delivery, ensuring projects run smoothly and clients receive prompt, professional service.

Internal Sales Executive Responsibilities:

Provide technical and commercial back-office support to Key Account Managers and Regional Sales teams. Manage customer enquiries, projects, and product requirements from initial enquiry through to delivery. Liaise closely with factories, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate order processing and product availability. Respond to customer and installer technical queries and assist in product selection and specification. Prepare quotations, follow up on opportunities, and support conversion of enquiries into confirmed sales. Maintain CRM and internal systems with accurate and up-to-date customer information. Coordinate logistics, tracking orders and providing timely updates to customers. Contribute to customer satisfaction through professional communication, attention to detail, and a solutions-focused approach. Support sales colleagues with promotional materials, trade show preparation, and new business development. Attend customer and supplier visits when required.

Internal Sales Executive Experience:

Degree-qualified in a technical or commercial discipline (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in a technical internal sales or project coordination role. Confident in handling customer accounts and supporting business growth initiatives. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer needs and business objectives. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both written and verbal. Highly organised, structured, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM systems. Knowledge of mechanical, or technical product environments is advantageous.
