Hayley Group Limited has an exciting vacancy for a highly motivated Internal Sales person to join our well-established and experienced team based at our BML Hayley Wolverhampton branch. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.
Hayley Group is the largest independent distributor of MRO engineering products and consumables (bearings, fasteners, PPE, tools, lubricants etc) in the UK. Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
About the role:
As part of our internal sales team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring an efficient and professional response to all incoming enquiries and orders, delivering excellent service while driving profitable sales across our full product range. You’ll proactively follow up on outstanding customer enquiries, prepare accurate quotations, and look for opportunities to upsell and add value.
Your responsibilities will also include undertaking a variety of purchasing and administrative tasks such as placing orders, raising invoices, and supporting the wider sales and purchasing functions. You’ll take ownership of maintaining branch and customer stores to a high standard, ensuring stock is replenished promptly and efficiently. Building rapport with customers will be essential, helping to establish trust and credibility through excellent service and product knowledge. Above all, you’ll take personal responsibility for ensuring that every customer requirement is fulfilled accurately and on time.
What we're looking for in our Internal Sales person:
Proven internal sales experience. Knowledge of MRO/Engineering products is desirable, however full training will be provided.
Ability to explain technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders would be an advantage
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Self-motivated, with strong organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK Driving Licence as occasional visits to some clients may be required.

The recruitment process:
