Kitchen Sales Designer – Howdens Join Howdens as a Kitchen Sales Designer and help transform trade customers’ clients into dream kitchens. You will meet end users in their homes, listen to their vision, clearly understand their needs, and offer expert advice. You will then plan and design inspirational kitchens that exceed expectations for both design and utility, negotiate with trade customers, and protect the integrity and value of the design and product quality. Key Responsibilities
Meet trade customers and end users in the homes to capture vision and needs. Plan and design kitchens that balance design appeal and functional utility. Provide expert product and design advice to support customer decisions. Negotiate details with trade customers while maintaining brand and quality standards. Collaborate with Howdens Academy training to maintain up‑to‑date product and sales knowledge.
Required Skills & Attributes
Strong customer service skills. Thrives in fast‑paced environments. Eye for design and an understanding of kitchen aesthetics. Previous sales experience, preferably in kitchen or home‑goods sector. Prioritisation and organisational skills. Curious learner, results‑driven and self‑motivated. Full UK driving licence and access to personal vehicle. Experience with CAD design preferred.
