Are you ready to take control of a strategic leading Regional Sales Manager role? Or looking for a role that challenges you further?
I am currently seeking a Northern-based Regional Sales Manager to oversee approximately 6 sales team members and drive the company's growth.
Role Summary
This is an exciting, new, growth-initiated Regional Manager role, ideal for someone who thrives in managing a team and has the skills to help the team grow, develop accounts, and build customer relationships.
This will be achieved through:
- Providing first-line management to team members and being fully responsible for HR, coaching, motivating, and development activities.
- Participating in setting strategy and annual regional sales targets.
- Effectively liaising with your team and wider support staff to implement strategies aimed at increasing market share and revenue.
- Successfully negotiating product evaluations in targeted NHS and private sector accounts.
- Providing monthly sales and activity performance reports for the region.
- Overseeing evaluations and supporting the team to maximize product adoption.
- Supporting the team in managing regional accounts to maximize sales and drive growth.
- Supporting induction and recruitment processes.
- Attending and promoting the company and its products at trade exhibitions, meetings, and territory visits.
Role Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, coaching, and managing a regional sales team.
- Being knowledgeable about local contracts and tenders.
- Building a network of key stakeholders, including KOLs.
- Being accountable for results and driving sales in line with expectations and targets.
- Achieving sales and profit targets, completing monthly forecasts, and conducting quarterly business reviews.
- Maintaining expert knowledge of the product range and competitors to support evaluation activities and sales opportunities.
- Supporting your team in becoming recognized as wound closure experts in the region and serving as a key resource for customers.
Skills and Experience Required
You will have:
- Team management experience
- A degree in Business or Life Sciences
- A proven track record in the medical device market
- In-depth understanding of NHS and private purchasing processes, particularly with Orthopaedic/Spine products
- Experience working in an operating theatre environment
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
