Reservations, Sales & Events Manager Salary - up to £45,000 per annum Schedule - Full Time Experience - Previous experience as a Reservations and Sales Manager within a quality restaurant group JKS Restaurants are on the lookout for a dedicated and dynamic Reservations, Sales & Events Manager to become an integral part of our growing team. The successful candidate will be approachable, personable and passionate about the London dining scene. This role will drive event sales and reservations across our Chaiyo group of restaurants - Plaza Khao Gaeng, Speedboat Bar and some other exciting projects in the works. Chaiyo Group Plaza Khao Gaeng In partnership with Chef Luke Farrell, Khao gaeng broadly means curry over rice. Plaza Khao Gaeng is a celebration of the coast to jungle cuisine. Its a kaleidoscope of curries thick with fresh coconut milk and aromatic curry pastes, fermented fish for depth, and searingly hot stir fries with cooling herbs alongside. Khao gaeng restaurants fill the space around them the more popular they become. Plaza is inspired by one such place that has taken over an old movie theatre in Bangkok. Curries set out in gleaming trays fill the entrance under the faded faade and up the stairs to the box office. This anytime comfort food provides pause in a place cool and quiet from the bustle of the street below. Speedboat Bar Speedboat Bar takes inspiration from the Thai-Chinese restaurants in Bangkoks Chinatown and the thrilling sport of Speedboat racing along the canals (klongs) of Thailand. The menu explores the ingredients, flavours and techniques from Bangkok and its unique foodways; Chinese in origin but now uniquely Thai. A masterclass in wok cooking, roasted meats and spicy sauces, each hinging on the specialist Thai herbs and ingredients cultivated and grown at Lukes nursery, Ryewater, in Dorset. The bar focuses on sharing Singha beer towers, slushies and chasers; the signature Speedboat cocktails Snakesblood Negroni; Shop Window Old Fashioned; and Jelly Bia made with frozen Leo Lager; as well as softs such as a Snakefruit soda. The Position Reporting to the Operations Manager and Head of Marketing , the successful Reservations, Sales & Events Manager will be a proactive, personable self-starter, committed to maximising revenue across the group. Duties Include: Manage daily guest communication across reservation platforms and VIP lines Coordinate and optimise reservations using SevenRooms, reporting tools, and other booking systems Support sales strategy execution, pipeline management, and lead generation Drive private dining and event revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and seasonal promotions Plan and deliver events, managing all logistics, timelines, and stakeholder coordination Maintain strong client relationships, handle reactive enquiries, conduct site visits, and manage feedback Ensure smooth handover from sales to operations for event delivery Collaborate with marketing and finance on promotional campaigns and billing Maintain accurate documentation, contracts, function sheets, and performance reports Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and support event safety procedures Requirements: Proven experience as a Reservations and Events Manager Strong commercial and client relationship management skills Proficient in using booking systems (preferably SevenRooms) and reporting tools Excellent communication, organisational, and project management abilities Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and finance teams High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences Understanding of health & safety compliance within events Passion for hospitality and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset Proficient with Microsoft Office programmes Ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure and grace Benefits & Culture Our team is the most important part of our business, translating our passion for genuine hospitality to our guests every day.
