Sales & Event Manager - Luxury Independent Catering Company Location: South London (Office-based with on-site events) Salary: £33,000 - £45,000 + commission (negotiable DOE) We're proud to be working with one of London's leading privately-owned luxury event caterers , delivering Michelin-level cuisine and exceptional service for over 35 years. From intimate dinners to large-scale award ceremonies, our client creates bespoke menus and unforgettable experiences for some of the most prestigious venues in the city. We are now seeking a capable, ambitious and entrepreneurial Sales & Event Manager to join their small but mighty team. This is a front-facing, full-cycle role - from the first client enquiry to event delivery - perfect for someone who thrives on relationship building, creativity and operational excellence - a real 'can do'er'. The Role As Sales & Event Manager, you will: Act as a brand ambassador , driving sales, nurturing client relationships, and delivering events that exceed expectations. Manage the entire sales process, from initial enquiry and costing to tastings, contracting and event execution. Work collaboratively with kitchen, operations and venue teams to deliver seamless events, every time. Attend networking events, follow up with lapsed clients and track industry trends. Oversee event budgets, invoices and cost controls without compromising quality. Key Responsibilities Client Management & Sales Handle enquiries promptly, prepare tailored proposals, and secure bookings. Achieve revenue targets and support year-on-year sales growth. Maintain accurate CRM data and reporting. Business Development Attend industry and networking events to generate leads. Reconnect with past clients to encourage repeat bookings. Monitor competitor activity and market trends. Event Planning & Delivery Lead events from concept to completion. Coordinate with all teams to ensure flawless execution. Manage last-minute changes with professionalism and efficiency. Financial Management Issue invoices, reconcile event costs and manage budgets. About You We're looking for someone with: Proven experience in sales and events within a luxury or high-end catering/events company - this is essential. A genuine passion for creating extraordinary client experiences. Exceptional communication, time management and organisational skills. A creative, proactive approach with the ability to work under pressure. A polished, professional and personable manner. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required (overtime paid).
