We are now looking for a Sales and Marketing Director to drive our commercial strategy and lead a growing team. This is not a back office role. You will be out every week meeting customers, generating spot purchase business and making sure Prometheus is always front of mind. Alongside this, you will shape our marketing function, building campaigns that create leads, strengthen our brand and secure our place as a trusted partner.


Job Opportunity

This is a senior leadership role where you will have the autonomy to set the direction and take full ownership of sales and marketing at Prometheus. As Sales and Marketing Director you will be accountable for driving revenue growth, building a strong pipeline of opportunities and ensuring our brand continues to stand out in a competitive market. You will balance hands on customer engagement with leading and inspiring a growing team, making sure we deliver results at pace.

In this role you will

• Lead and inspire a sales and marketing team to deliver consistent results and exceed targets

• Build strong and lasting relationships with NHS Trusts Local Authorities and independent providers to secure both new and repeat business

• Drive spot purchase sales through regular weekly customer engagement ensuring Prometheus is always front of mind when urgent support is needed

• Take ownership of tenders proposals and negotiations to secure new contracts and long term partnerships

• Develop and deliver innovative marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels that generate leads and enhance brand awareness

• Oversee the sales pipeline ensuring timely follow up accurate forecasting and clear reporting to the board

• Represent Prometheus at events conferences and networking opportunities acting as a visible ambassador for the business

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in senior sales and marketing leadership ideally within healthcare public sector commissioning or another service led industry

• Strong track record of driving revenue growth through both spot purchase sales and longer term contracts

• Skilled in marketing strategy campaign design and lead generation across digital and offline channels

• Confident communicator and negotiator able to influence stakeholders at every level and close high value deals

• Highly organised proactive and commercially astute with strong financial awareness

• Experienced in leading and motivating a team to deliver results and exceed expectations

• Comfortable representing a business externally at events conferences and client meetings

• Full right to work in the UK

• Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle
