Sales and Reservations Executive

Salary - £28,600 per annum We are looking for a proactive, commercially focused Sales and Reservations Executive to support the delivery of the hotel's commercial sales strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for processing all group and corporate accommodation, meeting room, conference, and event enquiries professionally and promptly. You will play a key role in developing client relationships and growing revenue.

Your Role
The Sales and Reservations Executive will support the delivery of the sales strategy for the hotel.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in hotel sales and reservations, demonstrating the ability to convert opportunities into tangible revenue. The candidate will be a confident communicator and skilled collaborator with the ability to work efficiently across multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities of role will include but are not limited to:
• Manage all incoming corporate and group accommodation, meeting, and conference enquiries.
• Prepare tailored proposals, contracts, and event confirmations to maximise conversion.
• Maintain accurate group blocks, rooming lists, event details, deposits, and billing instructions in PMS/CRM systems.
• Conduct professional show rounds.
• Build strong relationships with corporate clients, agents, and event planners.
• Provide clear, timely communication and support to clients from enquiry to post-event follow-up.
• Coordinate special requirements including AV needs, dietary preferences, timings, and accessibility.
• Prepare comprehensive function sheets and operational briefs for all confirmed events.
• Liaise with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Kitchen, and Wellness teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Optimise rates, meeting room yields, and availability.
• Upselling meeting enhancements, F&B options, accommodation upgrades and experiences.
The core skills and experience required to succeed
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a sales and/or reservations role in the hotel or hospitality sector;
• Solid understanding of sales techniques
• Demonstrated ability to develop sales proposals and quotations
• Experience working with Opera Cloud, CRM platforms and reporting tools;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence to liaise with internal and external stakeholders;
• High level of attention to detail and ability to self-manage responsibilities;
• Willingness to attend industry events, client meetings, and hospitality functions as needed;
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset and a drive to improve continuously.
You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
