The Entertainer is opening a brand-new shop at Gunwarf Quays Shopping Centre, Portsmouth!

Here at The Entertainer, we're not like any other toy shop. Our teams have a passion for toys and creating memories for everyone who visits our store. With more than 160 stores across the UK, and our toy concession partnership with Tesco, we have exciting plans for the future as we continue to aim to become the best-loved toy shop, one child, one community at a time. What your responsibilities will include:

Contracts Available for this store are:

- 20 Hour Permanent contracts, typically working 4-hour shifts over 5 days a week

- 12 Hour Permanent contracts, typically working 4-hour shifts over 3 days a week

- 20 Hour and 12 Hour seasonal only contracts working the shift times above

- Weekend Sales Assistants on a Fixed Term Contract til Easter 2026, typically working 10 hours per week, Saturdays and Sundays

Our stores are open 7 days a week and depending on the trading hours of the store you’re applying for, having a flexible approach and a commitment to help the store operate, it is key that you are able to work the shift patterns above for the role that suits you best. This might include working hours at any time of the day, and extra hours should they be available - perhaps even outside of our normal trading hours, especially at Christmas.
