About the Role

The company is hiring a VP of Sales / Commercial Director to lead and scale a multi-channel revenue organisation. You’ll set the commercial vision, build and coach a high-performing team, and lead complex deals with strategic partners — all while ensuring operational excellence and measurable growth. This role offers the opportunity to shape GTM strategy in a purpose-driven, high-velocity environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in sales, business development, or partnerships, ideally in high-growth tech or DTC
  • Proven track record of building and scaling a commercial function to 7-figure P&L or beyond
  • Data-driven and fluent in CAC, LTV, attribution models, cohort analysis, and forecasting
  • Skilled in negotiating complex, high-value enterprise deals
  • Proficient with Salesforce, HubSpot, or other sales tech tools
  • Strong leadership background — able to hire, coach, and grow high-performing teams
  • Strategic thinker with sharp execution skills and the ability to prioritise for growth
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and representing commercial voice at the exec table

Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, and scale the sales organisation across enterprise, fleet, wholesale, and energy verticals
  • Set the long-term commercial vision and define clear, measurable goals
  • Own revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking
  • Create a strong operating rhythm for the team — from deal strategy to execution
  • Recruit and develop top sales talent across BD, AM, and enterprise sales
  • Coach the team to consistently exceed performance targets
  • Foster a high-accountability, collaborative, and inclusive team culture
  • Personally lead complex, high-value negotiations with C-suite, procurement, and legal stakeholders
  • Act as a role model for sales excellence and client relationship management
  • Design scalable sales frameworks: KPIs, comp plans, commission structures, and territories
  • Own CRM discipline and ensure Salesforce (and tooling) is used effectively for forecasting and visibility
  • Drive commercial inputs into product, marketing, and delivery roadmaps
  • Feed customer feedback and competitive intelligence into company strategy
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align GTM efforts with business objectives
