Job Description
We are seeking a remote Sales Engineer based in the United Kingdom to support our expanding customer base across EMEA . This individual will play a critical role in the sales process, leading technical discussions with prospective clients and demonstrating how MCIM’s solutions address their needs.
As a key bridge between sales, product, and customer success, the ideal candidate brings deep technical acumen, strong communication skills, and experience in pre-sales engineering within the data center, CMMS, or enterprise asset management space.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise: Serve as the primary technical resource for the EMEA sales team. Understand customer requirements and clearly articulate how our solutions meet their needs.
- Product Demonstrations: Deliver engaging, technically accurate demos tailored to client-specific use cases.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with the product team to translate customer needs into viable solutions, factoring in upcoming features and roadmap items (6–12 month window).
- Proposal Development: Support the creation of technical proposals and SOWs in partnership with Operations and Customer Success.
- Customer Support: Provide ongoing pre-sales technical support, and post-deployment support in collaboration with the technical support team.
- Internal Enablement: Train sales team members on product functionality, enabling them to lead first-line product conversations.
- Market Insights: Track industry trends, competitor offerings, and innovation within the CMMS and EAM space to provide strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
- Location: Must be based in the United Kingdom and eligible to work remotely.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in a Sales Engineering or similar customer-facing technical role.
- Experience with CMMS , Enterprise Asset Management , or data center-related SaaS products.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Salesforce architecture , including Custom Objects, APIs, Flow Builder, and Einstein Analytics.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Communication: Able to translate complex technical concepts to business users and executive stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a detail-oriented approach.
- Collaboration: Comfortable working cross-functionally across global teams.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 25% across EMEA to attend client meetings and industry events.
