1. Managing assigned territory to maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed corporate goals in the High/Ultra High Vacuum industry.
2. Responsible for timely and accurate forecasting of annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets.
3. Collaborate with senior management to establish and execute sales and business development plans for the region.
4. Recruit, develop, and lead the direct and indirect sales teams with knowledge of Deeper/High/Ultra High Vacuum products and applications, supporting them in sales strategies and increasing market presence through regular meetings and field visits.
5. Lead by example in customer handling, complex situations, value selling, time management, and decision-making, while developing soft sales skills within the team.
6. Develop sales plans and budgets to achieve or surpass annual sales objectives with consistent year-over-year growth.
7. Conduct regular customer and dealer visits to monitor coverage, assess competitor activity, and identify new sales opportunities.
8. Execute marketing activities such as participating in expos, seminars, and sales camps within North & East India.
9. Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to payment collection.
10. Expand business through online portals like GEM and government tender platforms.
11. Coordinate with after-sales service and supply chain teams to share market feedback and align on sales and service strategies to ensure customer satisfaction.
12. Manage receivables, follow up on outstanding payments, ensure compliance with bank guarantees and LC procedures, and coordinate with finance for account reconciliation.
Travel extensively in South & East India to manage customers and OEMs through direct and indirect channels, providing regular reports on current and future opportunities.

To succeed, you will need:
Educational requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics engineering.
- Additional business or managerial qualifications are advantageous.
Experience requirements:
- Proven sales experience in industrial equipment for 4+ years; vacuum pump industry experience is a plus.
- Technical and commercial knowledge with the ability to apply both.
- Experience managing both direct and indirect sales channels.
- Ambitious with strong commercial, soft, and negotiation skills.
Knowledge:
- Technical understanding and interest in new products and developments.
- Territory management skills.
- Strong sales techniques and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms, with willingness to learn new systems.
- Proactive, goal-oriented, capable of working under pressure and multitasking.
