Job Description

In a predominantly telephone-based sales role, you will be attempting to 'knock down doors', engaging with Managing Agents and Housing Officers to promote the benefits of smart meters, encouraging those in authority to engage with the delivery team(s) and ultimately have smart meter's installed.



You will be calling through large sets of data and following up on leads and enquiries generated at events, trade shows and seminars.

The Successful Applicant

Our client would love it if you came from a Property / Housing / Energy / Estate Management background, but this is not essential.



You will be tenacious, determined and a skilled solutions provider over the telephone. You will enjoy researching avenues to explore online, tracking down decision makers and engaging with people over the telephone.



Our client is upfront about this being a role where results will not come quickly or easily necessarily, so with dogged determination you will have a calling strategy and a strong ability to persuade customers - it is worth noting that what you are 'selling' here comes at no cost to the end user, but this role is about getting the buy in to have customers engage with the delivery team. It's a win win for everyone, but it takes time to get through to the right people and demonstrate the benefits of what's on offer!

What's on Offer

Our client is looking to pay north of £35k Base Salary through to c.£45k Base Salary dependant on experience, with additional incentives to be discussed at interview.



Initially, this will be a 6 month FTC with an ASAP start, likely 2 stage interview process.
