Location: Manchester (Office-based, 5 days a week)

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 basic + OTE of £95,000


About the Business Development Manager role:


Nobul is excited to be partnering with a fast-growing financial planning business, who are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join their growing sales team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a company that is transforming the financial planning industry.


The role is focused on B2B sales, booking pension clinics with businesses across the UK, and helping their employees understand and optimise their workplace pensions. This is a high-activity, telephone-based role that requires resilience, tenacity, and a passion for making a difference.


What you’ll do as the Business Development Manager:


  • Make high-volume cold calls to business owners, decision-makers, and HR leaders, aiming to schedule pension clinics.
  • Collaborate with a data architect to use pre-supplied data, LinkedIn, and other platforms to find and target potential clients.
  • Keep detailed records of calls, follow-ups, and outcomes in the CRM to stay organised and keep the sales process running smoothly.
  • Navigate gatekeepers, connect with decision-makers, and lock in appointments for pension clinics.


Key skills and experience for our Business Development Manager:


  • Proven success in B2B sales, appointment setting, or business development, ideally in high-volume, phone-based roles.
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Skilled at building rapport with decision-makers, managing CRMs, and staying organised.
  • Driven, passionate, and adaptable in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Polished, professional, and adept at connecting with diverse audiences.
