Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Surrey (near Guildford)
Salary: £28,000-£32,000 per annum

Robert Half are currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a well-established and growing organisation based near Guildford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong transactional finance experience-particularly in credit control and cash allocation-who is looking to take ownership of the AR function within a supportive and collaborative finance team.

You'll work closely with the wider finance and operational teams to ensure accurate and timely billing, payment allocation, and reporting, playing a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow and supporting overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Accounts Receivable inbox and respond to billing and payment queries promptly.

• Raise and process sales invoices and credit notes accurately.

• Allocate customer payments and perform regular account reconciliations.

• Follow up on overdue balances and support with credit management processes.

• Run and reconcile aged debt reports at month-end.

• Assist with month-end close procedures and audit queries.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Credit Control role.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

• Confident communicator with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Experience using accounting or ERP systems (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
