Job Description
As the Sales Manager, Strategic Account EMEA – Life Science, you will lead a high-performance sales team to achieve sustained sales and market share growth for assigned strategic accounts. You will develop and implement sales strategies and oversee global partnership development, communicating Rockwell Automation's value propositions at an executive level. You will facilitate communication between strategic accounts and our product groups and departments.
You will report to the EMEA CPG & Life Science Sales Director Strategic Accounts and be located in any major European hub.
The Responsibilities - You Will Do
- Lead a team of Strategic Account Managers responsible for key Life Science accounts.
- Implement a disciplined sales process to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Create strategies to generate new opportunities through marketing and targeted activities.
- Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team.
- Support employee development through training and development plans.
- Communicate the Rockwell Automation Connected Enterprise message, emphasizing OT/IT convergence and partnerships.
- Maintain key executive relationships for long-term success.
- Engage with senior management of strategic accounts using a consultative, outcome-based approach.
- Promote business growth across multiple customer levels.
- Align with sales leadership and develop trust-based relationships with principal customer sponsors.
- Formalize relationship expectations and develop growth strategies for all products and services.
- Prioritize high-impact opportunities and ensure access to all Rockwell resources.
The Essentials - You Will Have
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience in technical sales, industrial distribution, or systems integration.
- 5+ years of management experience in the Life Science industry.
- Experience with software and digital transformation.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have
- Additional business degrees or experience.
- Experience selling control/information solutions, IoT/IIoT, software, or subscription models.
- Experience working with all enterprise levels, including CxO and operations leadership.
- Global sales experience and ability to travel 50% domestically and internationally.
