Job Title: Sales Manager

Contract Type: Full-time Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 – 17:30

Location: Manchester (on-site)

Salary: £35-38k per year + uncapped bonus


Job Overview:

The Sales Manager is responsible for independently leading and managing the sales team to meet individual and team’s sales targets while hands-on delivering exceptional sales activities and client services. Additionally, the manager must strive to maintain an outstanding level of client satisfaction.

 

The key tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the team to consistently surpass the sales objectives, whilst also personally contributing to the revenue stream by managing individual client sales consultations and fulfilling a personal target.
  • Lead, motivate, coach, and develop the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and empowering each member to reach their full professional potential.
  • Establish, track, and monitor KPIs to effectively measure team productivity and ensure the attainment of overall departmental objectives.
  • Analyse and formulate data-driven sales strategies and initiatives to ensure the effective and efficient realisation of the team’s strategic goals.
  • Provide crucial market insight by continuously gathering intelligence and feeding back actionable data to support the strategic direction of Prominent Education.
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle and student journey, ensuring maximum opportunity capture and a seamless, high-quality client experience from initial contact through to course completions.
  • Review and refine inter-team collaborations and processes to ensure an efficient, client-friendly, and smooth booking process.


Requirement:

Essential:

  • Degree or equivalent level qualification
  • Track record of outstanding sales activities. Highly preferably in the education related industry.
  • 2 years of sales management experience.
  • Understand the tutoring business trends in both the UK and China
  • Understand the UK Education system and its equivalent in China
  • Experience in managing sales team with track record of meeting team’s sales targets
  • Excellent written & verbal communication in Mandarin
  • The ability to manage an extensive workload with frequently conflicting priorities with good organisational skills and great attention to details
  • The ability to effectively communicate with the team and other departments to resolve complex situations

Desirable:

  • 3-4 years of sales experience in the tutoring industry in China or in the UK.
  • Understand the tutoring business trends in both the UK and China
