About the Role
We are seeking a driven and experienced Cyber Security Overlay Sales Specialist to partner with territory sales leads and account teams. Your primary focus will be to drive growth and adoption of advanced cyber security solutions by engaging with existing customer accounts and identifying new opportunities. You’ll play a pivotal role in positioning multi-layered managed security services, zero trust solutions, threat detection, compliance, and resilience offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with territory sales leads and account teams to embed cyber security into the sales pipeline
Identify, develop, and grow opportunities related to managed security services, endpoint protection, zero trust / least privilege access, monitoring & response, application / web protection, security advisory
Act as overlay specialist: support complex deals, lead cyber security solution design conversations, build business cases
Provide technical credibility in customer-facing meetings: articulate value of layered defence, continuous monitoring, incident response, disaster recovery & compliance etc.
Deliver or support product / security workshops, demos or proof‐of‐concepts as needed
Track threat & compliance trends in customers’ verticals; feed insights back to product / security teams
Achieve or exceed set sales targets / quotas for cyber security revenue & margin
Requirements / Qualifications
Demonstrable experience in cyber security sales (overlay or direct) selling managed security / detection & response / zero trust / compliance / advisory services
Strong understanding of cyber security architectures, best practices, threat landscape, regulatory compliance requirements
Ability to influence at senior levels (C-suite) and work cross-functionally with technical teams
Good commercial acumen: able to build business cases, understand pricing, margin, contracts
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation skills
Self-motivated, proactive, able to travel to visit clients / prospects, as needed
