About The Role
- We are looking for a seasoned Sales Support Specialist to increase the capacity and efficiency of XWP’s sales team and support long-term, high-value partnerships. This is a part-time contract role starting at approximately 10 hours per week. We ask that the successful candidate has the flexibility to increase their engagement when new RFPs and client pitches arise. At this time, we are only seeking candidates who are located in the Americas or within the UK time zone.
- You are a seasoned leader, who’s able to manage projects with a calm, collaborative approach
- You are a strategic thinker with a knack for clear writing and communication
- You’re comfortable juggling competing priorities and managing asynchronous communication
- You have a strong understanding of digital services, and ideally, some exposure to WordPress
- You value autonomy and have the self-management skills to operate dependably in a remote role
- You have 5+ years experience in sales or business development in a digital/agency or consulting context
- You’ve worked in a web development agency environment (e.g., WordPress development, UX research, branding, support & maintenance)
- You’ve led full RFP responses (e.g., developing the templates, entering content, coordinating inputs, managing timelines, final submission)
- You have experience identifying, researching, and qualifying potential sales leads based on fit, intent signals, and opportunity readiness
- You have a proven track record of moving leads through the funnel via content, discovery calls, or strategic outreach
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- You’ve successfully managed tasks across time zones and collaborated with global teams
- Ability to self-manage and thrive in a remote, flexible work environment
- Experience improving RFP win rates through strategic refinements or team process upgrades
- You have experience working remotely (including remote education experience)
- You have experience working with Slack, Hubspot CRM, and Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence)
- You have hands-on experience with WordPress or involvement in the WordPress community
- Proactively monitor and reply to incoming client correspondence
- Lead the creation of customized, high-quality RFP responses and proposal templates
- Analyze and summarize key requirements in RFPs and align them with our capabilities
- Monitor industry events and recommend relevant opportunities to attend or promote
- Leverage LinkedIn or other social tools to identify potential sales leads
- Manage the client communication, moving leads through the funnel via content, discovery calls, or strategic outreach
- Actively participate in the smooth running of sales operations and collaborate with team members on the deployment of our enterprise solutions
- Track and analyze inbound data trends and source, and contribute to quarterly data reports
- Attend prospective customer calls as availability permits
- Represent XWP to some of the most exciting brands in technology and publishing
- Timely, high-quality, and tailored RFP responses that reflect XWP’s capabilities and client needs
- Increased conversion rates with sales pitches and efficiency in developing sales materials
- Increased lead generation and sales funnel activity
- Strong internal alignment between Sales and Marketing activities
- Proactive communication and follow-through on tasks with minimal oversight
- Participation and activation within XWP’s environment and remote culture
