The Customer Experience & Marketing team has an exciting opportunity for two Customer Experience Learning Specialists to join the team. These roles are remote with frequent visits to London and national travel to deliver face-to-face training.
We seek candidates who excel at building strong consultative relationships and rapport. This is a great opportunity for a passionate, self-motivated sales professional eager to work in-house and focus on driving the Barchester brand standards.
As a Customer Experience Learning Specialist, your role involves effectively delivering learning solutions across Barchester Healthcare that aim to increase occupancy by converting prospects seeking care homes and current short-stay residents into permanent residents.
Required skills and experience:
- Experience as a Learning and Development specialist, with a focus on sales and conversion
- Proven growth in commercial success through learning interventions
- Understanding of best-in-class sales and customer experience practices in a fast-paced, multi-channel environment
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel regularly across the UK, including overnight stays
- Knowledge of customer experience design and change management
Role and responsibilities:
- Analyze current enquiry and sales practices, immersing yourself in the enquiry-to-admission process
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of Customer and Resident Experience, including Life Enrichment and the Customer Journey, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Identify key conversion points and develop training to maximize these, using customer insights to inform actions
- Support the design of structured learning initiatives aimed at improving occupancy and customer experience, both technical and skill-based
- Implement a blended training approach, combining digital and face-to-face methods, collaborating with operators to determine the best delivery methods
- Travel nationally as required to deliver face-to-face training
- Create effective learning environments with appropriate tools and systems
- Prepare thoroughly for training sessions to ensure high-quality delivery
- Integrate training modules into the Barchester Learning and Development platform and future HR systems, including testing and pilots
- Maintain resources and materials supporting sales and occupancy success for current and future leaders
- Provide ongoing coaching to leaders on a one-to-one basis as needed
Rewards package:
- Up to £48,000 per annum
