*Role Overview:*
We’re seeking a dynamic and commercially minded *Retail Sales Trainer* to join our team and lead the delivery of high-impact sales training across our UK store network. This is a *field-based role* that’s perfect for someone who thrives on face-to-face coaching, understands how to influence store-level performance, and is passionate about developing people to deliver results.
You’ll work closely with store teams, area managers, and the wider L&D function to elevate selling capability, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance store KPIs. A passion for retail, exceptional coaching skills, and the ability to travel independently are essential.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Design, deliver, and continuously improve training programmes including onboarding, product knowledge, customer service, and advanced selling skills.
* Conduct in-store training and 1:1 coaching sessions to support front-line team members and store leaders.
* Collaborate with Regional Managers to identify performance gaps and provide targeted training interventions.
* Support the rollout of new products, campaigns, and store openings with tailored training initiatives.
* Monitor training effectiveness and report outcomes using key performance indicators: conversion rate, average transaction value (ATV), units per transaction (UPT), NPS, etc.
* Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the vape industry, customer behaviours, and competitor activity to ensure training remains relevant.
*What We’re Looking For:*
* 3+ years of experience in a retail training, coaching, or L&D role
* Proven track record of driving improved commercial performance through training
* Outstanding communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
* Hands-on coaching experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused retail environment
* High levels of organisation, independence, and adaptability
*You’ll Need To Be:*

* Confident, persuasive, and energetic
* A natural coach who builds rapport quickly
* Organised and self-managing in a field-based environment
* Adaptable and responsive to business needs
* A full *UK driving licence* with access to own vehicle and willingness to travel nationwide, including overnight stays
*What We Offer:*
* *Base Salary:* £35,000 – £40,000 (dependent on experience)
