The company
Our client is more than just a drama school – they're a community dedicated to nurturing creativity, confidence, and life skills in children through a unique blend of drama, dance and singing. They pride themselves on small, imaginative classes, original content, and teachers who are carefully recruited and trained to inspire every child to shine.
This role sits in their division dedicated to primary schools, offering a host of
educational workshops to primary schools, including Foundation, KS1 and KS2
National Curriculum Explorer Workshops. They offer a combination of paid and free drama and dance-based workshops to primary schools across London, the South-East, and the West.
Rather than using elaborate props or costumes, they prefer to focus on children's natural creativity, vision and inventiveness to bring subjects to life.
All their classes and workshops have been designed in line with the National Curriculum, using tried and tested drama techniques. Their teachers encourage children to use their imaginations to recreate historic moments, rewrite scenes and stories, empathise with characters, and get lost in an adventure. This means children can focus on creating their own world, leading to better retention and a greater depth of understanding of the material covered.
