UK or Germany Based (remote with international travel)
My client is looking to strengthen their successful sponsorship team by recruiting an experienced Event Sponsorship Manager with a proven track record. Working across our portfolio of international events, this individual will take on sales and account management responsibility for a diverse range of sponsors across multiple event and content formats.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop high quality, commercially successful event sponsorship models
- Acquire sponsors across our event portfolio – pitching, negotiating, and closing deals – meeting and exceeding commercial targets
- Develop bespoke packages and work on multi-channel offerings that exploit other content formats
- Build long term and lasting relationships with sponsors
- Account management for sponsors, ensuring their needs are met from the moment they sign, right through to the day of the event
- Working closely with their event partners to identify and recruit sponsors from its ecosystem
- Working closely with our Event Production team to ensure sponsor content is well positioned on programmes and content offerings
- Working closely with our Event Logistics team to ensure sponsors are taken care of pre and post event
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- A proven track record of success in a competitive sales environment
- Experience in writing sales/sponsorship proposals
- An all-round great communicator and negotiator
- Able to develop creative, bespoke sponsorship packages
- 3-5 years’ relevant work experience in B2B sales, preferably events (but not essential)
- Ability to quickly problem-solve complex issues and develop practical solutions
- Attention to detail and dependable
- Communicative and collegiate team player
- Willingness and flexibility to travel as and when required
