The Head of Sales and Operations Planning will lead and manage the demand and supply planning functions, ensuring accurate forecasting, alignment of supply with demand, and optimized inventory management. This role focuses on driving collaboration between sales, production, and operations teams to meet customer demand, manage resources effectively, and achieve business objectives. Demand Planning Leadership: Lead the Demand Planning Team to develop accurate forecasts for UK grocery, on-trade, off-trade, and international customer segments.
# Supply Planning Oversight: Direct the Supply Planning Team, overseeing all aspects of supply management down to site scheduling for the brewery.
# S&OP Process Management: Lead the Sales & Operations Planning process, fostering cross-functional alignment between sales, marketing, operations, and finance.
# Inventory And Resource Optimization: Develop inventory strategies to maintain optimal stock levels across the supply chain.
# Data Analysis And Continuous Improvement: Use data-driven insights and advanced analytics to identify areas for improvement.
# Serve as a key liaison between commercial and production teams.
QUALIFICATIONS & SPECIFIC TRAINING
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Advanced knowledge in S&OP processes, demand planning methodologies, and inventory management best practices. Proven experience in a senior S&OP, demand planning, or supply chain management role, preferably in the FMCG or brewing industry. Strong understanding of forecasting, demand planning, and supply planning processes. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. WE BLEED CRAFT BEER | This is our true North.
