Team Lead - Sales Development Representative

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Our team is a critical function within the lead and demand generation process, with its mission to profile, nurture, qualify leads generated from marketing activities and generate sales pipeline. MRC is a highly dynamic and fun team and we partner closely with Global Field Marketing teams and Sales teams to engage with customers across sectors, industries and companies’ sizes.
We are looking for someone who speaks English and has experience covering the India market.
Work as part of the Inbound/Lead Nurturing team to build a stronger AWS Lead Database by profiling/researching existing AWS leads to create a detailed view of the customer’s need for cloud technology and the sales opportunity.
# Perform calls to nurture leads with information and resources to increase their understanding of the AWS portfolio, the value proposition and relevant use cases for AWS services.
# help our customers evolve from a stage of Education to a state of Consideration.
# Through profiling, researching and nurturing efforts you will create higher value leads resulting in higher sales conversion rates.
# Work closely with multiple stakeholders (Sales team, Partner team, Marketing team, etc.) Support in-person marketing event, engaging with customers and accelerating their journey to cloud.
# Other than engaging with customers on a regular basis to accelerate their cloud journey, you will also work closely with Marketing and Sales aligning on market and sales strategy.
On a day-to-day basis, you will profile Marketing leads, reach out to customers, nurture them, uncover their IT roadmaps and work with sales stakeholders with proper handover. You will be impacting the Sales Pipeline at the top-middle of the funnel. With consistent results, a rep can also take on projects or courses to upskill and to career growth.

Bachelor's degree
#2+ years of work experience in sales/marketing and in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization - high-tech products/services highly advantageous.
# Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
# Master's degree
# AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification / AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
# Advanced Salesforce.com experience including the development of dashboards and reports.
# Proven success in doing business development OR marketing calls and juggling multiple projects in a high growth environment where priorities shift fast.
