Technical Sales Representative
to join our expanding team. The Role As a Technical Sales Representative, youll be responsible for managing the full sales cycle
from initial client contact through to handover to the installations department. Youll meet clients on site, prepare detailed quotations, and build strong, lasting relationships to help grow the companys market presence. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven, personable sales professional who enjoys working with technical products and delivering tailored solutions to customers. Key Responsibilities Manage the complete sales process for automated gate systems, from lead generation to project handover. Meet with clients on-site to assess requirements and carry out surveys. Prepare detailed quotations and proposals in line with client specifications. Follow up on estimates and close sales to meet or exceed monthly targets. Report weekly sales progress and pipeline updates to the CEO. Attend trade shows, networking events, and business development meetings to promote our services. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, technology, and industry trends. What Were Looking For Proven track record in
sales
(minimum 3 years experience). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative approach to selling. Strong organisational and time management abilities. Ability to understand and communicate
technical information
clearly and confidently. Logical approach to site surveys and client problem-solving. Negotiation skills with the ability to secure and close projects. Professional, proactive, and self-motivated attitude. Desirable Knowledge Previous experience with
automated gates, barriers, or access control systems
is highly advantageous, but not essential
full product training will be provided. Qualifications & Requirements Valid UK driving licence. Must pass a
security vetting check
(due to the nature of our installations). Comfortable with daily travel to client sites and networking events. What We Offer Competitive basic salary up to £45000 with
