The Technical Sales Officer role involves managing inbound sales for both new and existing customers. Although technical training is provided in-house, the role requires a strong desire to learn and meticulous attention to detail. It combines product knowledge, sector understanding, industry regulation awareness, and problem-solving skills.

What that means day to day

• Gather business process information from clients
• Collaborate with clients to determine the best-fit approach
• Use internal systems and industry guidelines to establish audit durations
• Manage a project pipeline
• Prepare proposals

What you’ll need to be successful

Essentials:

• Telephone-based sales experience
• Experience building strong relationships at all levels
• Confidence in CRM systems for analysis and reporting
• Clear and professional presentation skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong decision-making skills
• Strong interpersonal skills

Desirable:

• Industry and B2B experience
• Knowledge of certification or TIC industry
• Ability to complete tenders, PQQs, and proposals
