If you’ve answered ‘yes’ to all these questions, you’d really enjoy working on the Sales Team at NanoTemper Technologies.
As part of the Sales Team, you will play an important role in educating scientists and driving interest for our products in your territory from initial contact through to negotiation with purchasing and ongoing account management. You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues and partner with an Applications Specialist to lead Commercial activities and drive success with prospects and customers. You’ll be relied upon to share your knowledge and expertise with teammates and creatively adapt your approach in response to the dynamic marketplace.
We are prioritizing individuals physically located in the UK.
What You’ll Do
- Expand your business by generating new leads and adding accounts in the UK and specific Nordic countries
- Develop and execute your plan for the territory that will help you meet or exceed your annual goals
- Document, track, and manage your pipeline via Salesforce.com
- Provide product/scientific presentations to elicit interest in NanoTemper’s products
- Nurture opportunities from initial contact through to negotiation and commitment
- Represent NanoTemper at conference exhibits and sales events
- Use social selling skills to find new prospects
- Occasionally lift heavy items for demo purposes
What You’ll Bring
- B.Sc., M.Sc., or Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Molecular Biology, or a related Life Science field.
- Proven sales experience in the life sciences sector, ideally 2-5 years
- Strong scientific acumen with the ability to understand and communicate complex research workflows.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English (mandatory); proficiency in a Scandinavian language is a plus.
- Self starter with exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects/priorities.
- A collaborative team player with outstanding networking abilities and an existing network.
- Up to 50% of overnight travel for customer visits and conferences
